Sabri led the organisational design work Deloitte delivered for LOCOG.

Can you give some examples of the kind of work you do at Deloitte?

Predominantly restructuring businesses, either to accommodate future growth ambitions or to remove cost and improve efficiency.

What are you working on at the moment?

I am doing a number of projects including some further work for the LDA and LOCOG on designing the City Volunteers Programme that will sit alongside the Games Volunteer Programme and will be focused on enhancing the visitor’s experience to London during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What was your best experience whilst working on a LOCOG project?

This was an exceptional collaborative effort where we developed a step by step view of how the operating model and organisation structure for LOCOG would evolve between now and 2012. We identified some innovative organisational solutions, a number of which have already been implemented. LOCOG leadership are always fun and stimulating to work with.

What is your favourite Olympic moment?

It hasn’t happened yet.  It will be to see one of our people carrying the torch in the Torch Relay…
