So what’s it like working at LOCOG right now?

Working for LOCOG is very exciting. We are in the midst of planning for the Games, and with areas becoming more developed you can certainly see the vision of London 2012 coming to life.  I am really enjoying being here, to be working as a team in order to put on such an event is truly inspirational.

What’s been your best experience so far?

There is always something new and exciting going on at LOCOG, but one of my best experiences is actually having the opportunity to work with different functional areas. By working with the different teams, you get to experience their vision and goals, and how they operate – from working with venues and infrastructure to culture, ceremonies and education, it definitely keeps things exciting!

What are you working on at LOCOG?

I am currently working on developing the Health and Safety programme for LOCOG.  My current activities include developing policies, procedures, and tools. I meet with different functional areas in order to collaboratively integrate health and safety in their planning, which in turn will assist in mitigating these risks when it comes to the execution phase.

What’s your favourite Olympic moment?

I would have to say when the Canadian women’s hockey team won gold at the last Winter Olympic Games.
