Q: What is the deadline for submission?

A: The deadline for entries is 12.00pm on 26 February 2010.

 

Q: Can I submit more than one entry?

A: Only one entry will be accepted per person.

 

Q: Who is eligible to enter the competition?

A: Any full or part time student at a UK university studying on an under-graduate or post-graduate course.

 

Q: Are there any submission instructions?

All entries must comply with the conditions of entry. Please see the rules for further information.

 

Q: Is there an entry fee?

A: There is no entry fee for the competition. See the rules for more information on the conditions of entry.

  

Q: What formats do you accept for online submissions?

A: Entries will be accepted in doc, docx and pdf format.

 

Q: If I reach the finals, will Deloitte cover my travel expenses?

A: Deloitte will cover reasonable travel expenses within the UK for finalists to attend the final in London.

 

Q: How will my entry be judged?

A: There are 4 key areas upon which your entry will be judged. See the rules for more information.

 

Q: What is the word limit?

A: 2,012 words (excluding references and citations).  You must state the number of words at the end of your entry.

 

Q: When will I know if I have been successful?

A: The winners will be announced at the final on 11 May 2010.

 

Q: If I win, when will the work experience take place?

A: This is subject to both your availability and Deloitte’s availability.

 

Q: Can I enter as a team?

A: All entries must be made by individual students.

 

Q: Does my application to this competition mean I have applied to the graduate scheme?

A: Entries to the competition do not automatically enter graduates to the graduate scheme. If you wish to apply to the Deloitte Graduate Recruitment Scheme please visit the Graduate Recruitment website.
