Deloitte Ride Across Britain
The Deloitte Ride Across Britain is our annual challenge which sees 600 people ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End, with the aim of raising £1million for ParalympicsGB by 2013.
The annual ride takes place over nine days, with the route broken up into stages across the UK with stopover villages set up for riders, catering for all their overnight needs.
The inaugural event saw over 100 Deloitte partners, people and clients – a mix of solo riders and relay teams – take on this 1,000 mile challenge.
Danny Crates, Paralympic gold medallist, is the Deloitte Ride Across Britain ambassador for 2011. He will be joining the Ride for the whole 9 days, and fundraising for ParalympicsGB. Danny has recorded a podcast offering his take on the Ride, which you can access below.
